Draft Room adds brunch
Does all that bowling make you hungry? Kings Dining and Entertainment in Rosemont recently launched weekend brunch at The Draft Room. Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, brunch includes the choice of breakfast pizza ($9.99), chicken and waffles ($13.99), breakfast tacos ($10.99), s'mores French toast (challah bread topped with graham crackers, chocolate chunks, marshmallow and a chocolate drizzle for $12.99), the sunny burger (loaded with caramelized onions, cheddar, bacon, pepper mayo and a fried egg for $11.99) and more. Mago adds some zip to brunch
To start the year off, Mago Grill and Cantina is adding 11 new items to its brunch menu starting Saturday, Jan. 6. New entrees include “Hot Cakes” de Chocolate Abuelita ($8), the borracho burger ($13), breakfast burrito ($10) and sope con chorizo y papa (corn masa boat filled with black bean puree, roasted Yukon Gold potatoes, house-made chorizo, two eggs and chipotle aioli for $10). New skillets include the veggie ($12) and meat lovers ($15), while cocktails consist of sangria, the Mago Bloody Maria & Coronita, the Mago Champarita (lime juice, tequila Blanco, triple sec and a split of Korbel) and the Mago Champagne Mimosa Kit. Pajama brunch (again!)
If you missed the previous PJ Brunch at Mon Ami Gabi, now's your chance to try again. Roll out of bed in your pajamas and head to breakfast from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7. Choose from quiche Lorraine, a chicken and mushroom crepe, a waffle with Nutella, blueberry French toast and more. Dine in your pajamas and receive a gift certificate equal to the price of your meal (minus tax and gratuity) to be used on a future visit.
