Pete Miller's Steak and Seafood brings jazz, steaks and seafood to south Naperville when it opens a new location Tuesday, Nov. 7. In the tradition of the original Pete Miller's in Evanston, the Naperville incarnation will debut a specially curated menu from executive chef Marcus Mooney featuring aged steaks, chicken, chops, seafood, shareable sides and dessert. “We are excited to bring modern-classic American cuisine to the community paired with a strong jazz tradition unlike anywhere else,” said Fred Gore, general manager of the new restaurant, in a prepared statement. The new location, which includes an intimate private dining room and an open patio with bar, can seat up to 250 guests. Diners can enjoy live jazz from 5 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Restaurant hours are 4:30 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 4:30 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 4:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Bolingbrook Brew Fest

Craft beer, live music, food and more: You can find it all at the second annual Bolingbrook Brew Fest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at McQ's. Sample from 60-plus specialty, seasonal and small-batch beers from local, regional and national craft brewers. Plus, enjoy music from Within Four Days and Vaudevileins. Show your strength at the stein-hoisting event and join in party games like Giant Connect Four. McQ's Bar & Grill, McWethy's Tavern and Green St. Grille will be serving wings, barbecue pulled pork, Italian beef grinders, fish 'n' chips, brats and more. Miller's now open in Aurora

Looking for a new place to watch your favorite team on the big screen and have a beer? Miller's Ale House, which recently opened its doors in Aurora, just west of Route 59, may be what you're looking for. Boasting daily lunch, dinner and cocktail specials, Miller's offers more than 75 beers plus a variety of fare, including their signature boneless chicken Zingers. Daily specials are 1¼-pound baby back ribs for $11.99 on Mondays; 35 fried shrimp for $10.95 and kids eat for free on Tuesdays; 8-ounce sirloin for $12.99 on Wednesdays; 12-ounce prime rib for $13.99 on Thursdays; plus a variety of House of Football menu specials available on Monday and Thursday nights and all day Saturdays and Sundays. El Tapeo Modern Spanish Kitchen relaunches

El Tapeo Modern Spanish Kitchen recently relaunched with a new Spanish-inspired menu that includes shareable items such as pulpo negro (charred octopus), vieras fritas (fried bay scallops), patatas bravas (fingerling potatoes, spicy tomato sauce and crème fraiche), croquetas de setas (cremini mushroom fritters) and carne asada (grilled wagyu skirt steak). The revamped wine list features new world and old world wines and Spanish varietals, plus craft cocktails and house-made sangrias. Weekly specials include “La Cena” prix fixe menu - the three-course meal includes a choice of tapa, entree or half paella and a salad or dessert for $38 - from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. Every Friday is Paella Night, which includes endless paella for $18 from 5 to 9 p.m. Monthly Chef's Tables with executive chef Matthew Cappellini will pair chef-curated dishes with Spanish wine and spirits.

“The new offerings in El Tapeo seek to use flavors, ingredients and techniques found in Spain's culinary heritage in a manner that creates a comfortable, fun, and engaging experience,” said Elmer Stunkel, Director of Food and Beverage, in a prepared statement.

El Tapeo's hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 5 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The lounge is open from 4 p.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays, and 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, offering happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
