CSN airs Ben Wilson doc, Mag Mile light show

Death and perfection

Comcast SportsNet Chicago marks the 25th anniversary of the shooting death of Simeon High School basketball star Ben Wilson with "25: The Ben Wilson Story" debuting at 7 p.m. today on the cable sports channel. Luke Stuckmeyer plays host. On a cheerier note, CSNC gives White Sox fans a Thanksgiving treat by rerunning Mark Buehrle's perfect game at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26. At very least, be sure to catch DeWayne Wise's perfection-preserving grab at the end. What better way to rest and digest a turkey feast?

Let there be 'Lights'

WLS Channel 7 launches the local holiday season by airing the "Magnificent Mile Lights Festival" live from downtown Chicago at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. Janet Davies, Alan Krashesky, Hosea Sanders and Deborah Roberts of ABC's "Good Morning America" act as hosts.

'Card' charges

Investigative correspondent Lowell Bergman looks at the future of the U.S. consumer-loan industry as another holiday buying season gets cranked up with the new PBS "Frontline" episode "The Card Game." It debuts at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, on WTTW Channel 11. - Ted Cox

"Death Proof" might just be Quentin Tarantino's worst movie - which only means it's in the bottom half of the all-time Waste Watcher Top 10. Former child star Kurt Russell is Mr. T's reclamation project this time around, amid a bevy of B-movie beauties. It's at 9 p.m., rerun at midnight, today on MTV.
