Letter: The law should apply to everyone

On page two of Monday's Daily Herald a story with the headline "Court puts on hold Graham's testimony in election probe" said the appeals court temporarily put on hold a lower court order for Graham to appear.

People, there is not a court in the United States that should stop any politician from testifying in a special grand jury. I do not care who he or she is. When they are called to testify they should appear or go straight to jail until they agree to obey the subpoena.

The time has come that if you want to be a politician you should follow the law the people of the United States have to follow. It's wrong that there are two sets of rules - one for the people of the United States, and one for all politicians. This must stop.
