Give peace a chance

Stop and think how absurd it is that we are saber rattling with Russia over their border with Ukraine. How would we react if they threatened us over our handling of the Mexican Border? We'd certainly ban them from Twitter and Facebook.

The only way we can make the Russian/Ukraine border more dangerous to Americans than the U.S./Mexican border is by poking at Putin over an issue that is none of our concern.

Ask 100 Americans about the situation and 50 will have no idea what you are talking about. A huge majority will state emphatically that we have no business there. Maybe a few will think it's a good idea to tempt fate with a nuclear war.

For the sake of humanity even an idiot knows we should give peace a chance. Now to find the right idiot.
