Riot was insurrection
Allen Grannis' letter of Sept. 30 attempts to claim that the Jan. 6 riot was not an insurrection by comparing it to the riots of the previous summer. He's wrong. The term "insurrection" does apply to a group of people who invade the Capitol in order to prevent the Senate from carrying out its duty - in this case, the certification of the election.
