Voters will decide

Regarding "the real RINOs," there is something missing in the Daily Herald's editorial when it comes to Adam Kinzinger. That something is what an elected official is supposed to do.

An elected official is supposed to represent the views, beliefs and values of those that elect him. If Kinzinger has done these things, he should have little difficulty getting re-elected in his current district. If he hasn't represented his constituents' views, beliefs and values he may find re-election in his current district won't be all that easy.

All of this may be a moot point after the Democratic cartographers in charge of redistricting redraw the congressional boundaries because Kinzinger may find himself out of a job.
