Air quality and Rt. 53

The task force set to study Route 53 land is charged with "environmental impact" studies. This task force needs to consider the impact of all the cars and pollution along Lake Cook and Dundee roads.

Thousands of cars and trucks drive daily through Buffalo Grove and Wheeling, spewing their emissions in to our air. Lake Cook Road is being widened to handle more traffic.

It is time the state of Illinois and Sen. Melinda Bush acknowledge the air pollution burden put on our towns, not just the people of Lake County who drive through our town every day. It is time for someone to face the impact on our air quality.
