Vote for Milton Twp. mental health board

Milton Township voters on April 6 will be asked whether to establish a mental health board with an annual tax not to exceed 0.15%.

There have been rumors from a Wheaton political group that knows nothing about how this board will operate and be funded. They stated that there would be a 350% tax increase, with no details provided, and that the county has state-of-the-art facilities that already provide these services.

The truth is they are overwhelmed because there are not enough resources to keep up with the demand. There are 317 people on a waiting list to get professional help for Milton Township alone. There will be no additional buildings built or rented by the township. All professional services would be funded through grants. Vote yes!
