Speaking plain truth

It seems that most commentators found Biden's inaugural speech to not be memorable, lacking the lofty language of prior Presidents. For over five years we have heard ad nauseam that the ex-president's supporters liked him because "he told it like it was," "he spoke to the common man." In his common language to the common man he spoke lies. He spoke insults.

At last and once again, we have a president who can speak truth, hope and inspiration to the common man in common language. That alone makes his speech memorable. That alone is cause to celebrate it.
