Open the armories

No denying COVID has filled the hospitals, just look at the news. What I don't understand is the lack of initiative of Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot to call on the military to open and man armories with highly qualified medical staff at the ready. McCormick Place was activated and never used, but local armories in areas of high infection rates, would take the overflow of patients and lessen the burden of hospital staff.

So we need less hand-wringing by the politicians and to be more proactive with overflow medical locations. If the locations are not needed, better for us, if we do need them, we have saved lives.
