Our only true hope

First of all let me state that Paddock Publications' Daily Herald has been my Daily Respite during this tumultuous and frightening presidency. During my 68 years of living I have disagreed with presidents and I have been disappointed by policies, but I have never felt as ashamed, embarrassed, angry and astonished as I have felt over these past three and a half years.

I have continued to feel hopeful that the current resident of The Oval Office would show some semblance of decency. He has continually shown that he is incapable of healing our divisions as a country.

Was I exhausted after the first presidential debate? Yes. However, the moments that Joe Biden looked into the camera, I was engaged and so very hopeful. Joe Biden is our only true hope for our American experiment in democracy to continue. Biden has my unwavering support.
