'Negotiator' didn't fail

The "negotiator" has not failed again. He is protecting this country's trillions of dollars from useless spending. I, personally, wrote a letter to the president months ago begging him not to bail out Illinois after they were one of the first states to request a federal bailout. You don't reward mismanagement. You don't reward corruption. I can't wait to depart this state myself because I was brought up to pay your own way and not take government aid as long as I was able to work.

My 96-year-old mother is currently in long-term care in the best facility in the Chicagoland area. She is able to pay her own way currently because she worked, rented out rooms, took menial jobs when she was "retired" by a union-run company at the age of 55. We didn't even have a car for many months, because she wanted to pay cash.

So, don't tell me about people starving because of the president's gross negligence. He has offered a piecemeal deal to Sen. Pelosi but she "wants her own way, all or nothing." Who is going to pay the trillions of dollars that has already been run up as aid to airlines and big companies that I would bet have a lot of money on hand but still took the bailout.

Let's be sensible with the next "trillions" of dollars that will be needed to help individuals rebuild their businesses after the "peaceful" demonstrations. I went to see the destruction in Kenosha, a city that I love. It was heart breaking. Let's help the victims of these "peaceful" demonstrations and let other folks start filling the jobs that are being offered at fast food, some factories, UPS, Amazon, etc. People respect the dollar more when they have to earn it, rather than being given to them.
