How about these 'Christian values'?

It was disheartening, to say the least, to see Clarence Beardsley's comments in the Daily Herald on Sept. 21. He selectively attacks President Trump for betraying "Christian values," yet conveniently ignores the blatant anti-Christian actions of Joe Biden. A few questions he might want to consider and answer sincerely:

- Is supporting abortion up to nine months and even at the moment of birth "Christian?"

- Is threatening to again sue the Little Sisters of the Poor to force them to provide birth control in violation of their religious beliefs "Christian?"

- Was Biden's plagiarizing of a speech by British Labour Leader Neil Kinnock in 1987, which ultimately led to the end of his first presidential campaign, "Christian?"

- Is Biden's lie that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) "endorsed me every time I've run," despite the fact that the next day the NAACP had to issue a public statement confirming it had never endorsed Biden, "Christian?"

- Was Biden's 2007 claim that he was "shot at" in Iraq's Green Zone, which was later proven false, "Christian?"

- Is claiming in May 2020 that as a senator he opposed the so-called "3-strikes out" legislation of 1994, when he actually voted for it and personally referred to it as the "Biden bill," " Christian?"

These are just a sampling of Biden's many "less-than-Christian" actions. To paraphrase Beardsley's conclusion, if lying, infanticide and plagiarizing "do not offend you, you have every right to continue to support" Biden for president.

As for me, I'll stick with true "Christian values."
