Alienating fan base

For speaking nothing but the truth, Hub Arkush viciously attacked Brian Urlacher and is attempting to spoil the reputation and image of one of Chicago's true heroes, both on and off the field. It is not due to any kind of racial insensitivity; it is because Arkush disagrees with Urlacher's politics, despite his protestations to the contrary.

Those of us who hold conservative political views are losing our sports entertainment, a place we used to go to escape from this sort of thing. Now it is in our faces every time we turn on ESPN or any sports event when teams take their pregame moment to insult the flag and country for which so many of us love and served in the military. Sometimes I wonder if they realize they have alienated at least half of their fan base or if they even care.
