Congressman serving 6th District well

Leadership, courage, truth, transparency. These are the qualities which constituents in the congressional 6th District and all Americans seek in elected officials. Rep. Sean Casten exemplifies these qualities.

Along with these model qualities, Rep. Casten, has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in molecular biology and biochemistry along with a Master of Engineering Management and a Master of Science in biochemical engineering.

Sean sits on five congressional committees while working diligently on behalf of his constituents. As of May 22, he had sponsored 19 bills and co-sponsored 362 additional bills. Many of the most recent bills have been proposed in an effort to seek protection, assistance and access to COVID-19 treatments and much-needed financial grants during this coronavirus pandemic. Several additional bills have been put forth intending to strengthen and further advance the climate control advocacy needed to protect our planet.

With immediate concerns and transparency at the forefront and always with his constituents' feedback top-of-mind, Sean has held multiple town halls. These events have been conducted in-person, on social media and by telephone as he continues to inform and answer questions on the many issues that confront us today. Sean has always been forthcoming when providing information and clarity regarding his position on the issues, especially those of a controversial nature.

Sean is a respected, driven and honest representative always pursuing the best for the congressional 6th District and our nation.
