We're losing our constitutional rights
As the "stay-in-place" is still the proclamation of J.B. Pritzker, I feel the days roll on, Monday turns to Tuesday, Friday turns to Sunday; "oops" I missed Saturday, as I wake up each morning questioning myself, "What day is it?"
As the days roll into weeks, weeks roll into months, each day passes with "We the People" losing our constitutional rights; let alone not able to work, not able to earn a paycheck, not able to have a family gathering (if more than 10) and now able to attend church (if more than 10). We the people have been denigrated by the "main street media" by following the Constitution in protesting our government over grievances.
Not able to engage in the services of small business, the life blood of this country, with almost two-thirds of businesses deemed "a small business."
It hurts the small entrepreneurs, the "mom and pop" store in keeping their doors open, to pay their employees, to pay their rent and even pay their Illinois taxes that include applicable "sales tax" to keep the government running.
I'm mostly saddened that the governor's "stay-in-place" order has shut down my dog's groomer, Dippin' Doggies in Lake in the Hills, in the community for 22 years with a handful of employees. This business is the heart of what America is about, small businesses serving the community.
