Unwillingness to accept election hurts country

America voted in a new president. For nearly half of the nation, it was the wrong president and that is what has saturated our politics to this day. There exists a very hard core of voters who have not accepted the results and have even convinced themselves of their righteousness. Their position is that this president is not legal; therefore, they need not accept him as president or anything he proposes. This sets up an atmosphere of distrust and confusion that started even before Trump was sworn in as POTUS and has continued to this day. These unrelenting attacks on a legal president are becoming traitorous.

"A house divided against itself cannot stand" still resonates today. Our country has serious problems that will not be resolved, no matter how many fingers are pointed. When will the adults in the room step up?
