What are Republicans trying to hide?

With the impeachment trial of our president under way, it is important for our citizenry to realize a couple of things:

We will not have a fair trial as long as the Republicans admit that they are working with the White House on the conduct of this trial. That smacks of collusion and a slam dunk for the man being impeached.

Alan Dershowitz says that to be impeached, a crime must be committed. Roll back the film 20 years ago, and Alan Dershowitz said that no "crime" need be committed as long as abuse of power is there. That should indicate how much this government is insincere and thinks that the populace is so gullible that they will believe whatever is said now. The evidence provided certainly indicates abuse of power.

Look at the facts, oh wait, we probably won't be able to because the Republicans don't want witnesses or evidence during this "Monkey Trial." If these "jurors" expect thinking people to accept the outcome of this trial, they should truly be unbiased and listen and pay attention to the information that is brought forth.

The Republicans have the same opportunity to call witnesses and offer evidence as the Democrats. If they really prevent witnesses and evidence, we should all ask ourselves "What are they trying to hide?"
