Keep our hearts in the right place

We just got done celebrating the birth of Christ, Hanukkah, many occasions, and the promise of the New Year. All occasions that emphasize how we are all one. Or should at least be trying. In the next several months, billions of dollars will be spent trying to rip us apart. Marketing gurus, public relations companies, and politicians will declare their positions (maybe), display their incredible ability to spin, and get messages out, all in an effort to divide us.

Remember, that is not what we the receivers of those efforts should be paying attention to. It's a simple task. Love your fellow man. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Don't let the true celebration of the last few weeks fall to the wayside. Don't be victimized by the power of those billions of dollars. Keeping your heart in the right place won't cost you a cent.
