'Fair tax' is another scam

This is the season for scams and Gov. J B Pritzker is presenting a scam to the citizens of Illinois. Pritzker is asking the voters to approve his "Fair Tax" change with the Illinois income tax. Anyone remember when the lottery was approved to benefit Illinois education. Because the lottery money is deposited in the Treasury Department, the House is responsible for the disbursements. House Speaker Michael Madigan noticed all of the money coming from the lottery and changed the payout from only education to other areas in Illinois, because the lottery vote did not specify exactly education. This "Fair Tax" is just another scam, like the lottery. Pritzker has mentioned that the increase in income would be used for pensions and health care. He has already promised millions of dollars the state does not have to Chicago and the Chicago teachers. Is there enough money left over for Illinois needs? If this "Fair Tax" is approved, the state will not receive money until 2021 with no payouts until 2022. We cannot allow this tax to be approved with no control over where Pritzker and Madigan will spend the money.
