Entitlement numbers

Once again the Left has its hair on fire, the country is going to collapse and the world is ending. In an effort to reform some of the bloated, out-of-control entitlement programs wrought with fraud, the Trump Administration is placing a work requirement for single, healthy adults.

It is estimated that around 700,000 people out of 350 million may be impacted. Of those, it is estimated that in Illinois, with the new state motto "The land of corrupt Democrat politician and fraud," may see 140,000 people having benefits terminated. Let that sink in for a minute: 20% of the total is estimated to be in Illinois.

It also dawned on me that this is similar measure as that instituted in 1996 by former President Bill Clinton who said entitlements were out of control and unsustainable.

So where an I going with this? If Clinton noted 23 years ago that there was a problem, why are we back in the same boat today? It is the ideological leftists and the 44th president expanding social and entitlement programs to tens of millions of people who otherwise were not qualified to speed the decline and bankruptcy of this country.
