Great baseball and more

What a memorable World Series, Two great teams. A seven-game series. Not only entertaining on the field, but off the field. And I'm one of those millions of fans who was totally delighted and entertained by the reaction of the Washington crowd to President Trump. Why? Because one of the lessons of life learned over and over by most of us is "be careful what you say or do, lest it come back and bite you." The extemporaneous boos and chants of "lock him up" echoing through the baseball stadium, reported widely by everyone except Fox News, must have left more than a few bite marks on President Trump's ample behind.

Nothing serious, and all indications are that he's in full recovery. But nobody expected a World Series that would throw out a "what goes around comes around" message with such punch. Baseball, motherhood, apple pie, and natural consequences. What a country.
