A Democratic ploy

It's a three-ring circus orchestrated by the Democrats in the House of Representatives. Three times they have tried to garner enough votes to begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. Three times they failed. So, now they are making a fourth effort based on a phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky.

A whistleblower, based on second- or third-person hearsay, has leaked info the Democrats are salivating over in their quest to oust our duly elected president. What raises a serious question is the fact that whistleblowers had to have first-hand knowledge of the reported situation until recently.

Now, person A can tell person B who then tells person C and person C can blow the whistle without first-hand knowledge. I don't think anyone would accept that sort of allegations against them. Sounds more like juicy gossip and distorted information to make a false allegation.

If a real investigation were started based on known and reported facts, we could start with Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff and many other "holier than thou" politicians.

It is also noteworthy to realize that many presidents, including Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, have conversed with principals of foreign governments including Ukraine, Russia and China, over the last 50 or 60 years without triggering investigations. This is obviously another Democrat ploy to harm our president and weaken him for the 2020 election. Unfortunately, it also weakens our nation.
