'Equality' law reduces rights of many

The Daily Herald article titled "House (of Representatives) approves sweeping bill to expand gay rights" should be retitled, "House approves sweeping bill that would reduce the rights of others."

House Democrats have passed a pro-LGBT bill hilariously misnomered the "Equality Act." If enacted into law, this ridiculous bill would allow discrimination against, legal persecution of and making criminals out of decent, moral businesspeople who merely don't want to cater to heterophobic homosexuals or accommodate transgenders. Is that bizarre or is that bizarre?

Many of these same Democrats also want to force businesses to allow physiological males to use female restrooms and physiological females to use male restrooms. What kind of people put the feelings of transgenders above the feelings of moral people who don't want to share their restrooms with people who are physiologically of the opposite sex? Is the answer people whose values are upside-down, backward and warped?

These are strange times we live in, where people whose values are upside-down and backward actually think they are "progressive" while they are trying to take us back over 2,000 years to the ancient Greek and Roman times when relatively primitive and ignorant people irrationally valued homosexual activity.

Surreal. Beam me up, Scotty! The inmates are taking over the asylum.
