Prospect Heights 3rd Ward should get behind Betty Cloud

As a former 3rd Ward Alderman in the city of Prospect Heights, I wanted to take this opportunity to endorse my longtime friend and former colleague Betty Cloud. Betty is running for the seat I held for eight years (1995-2003).

Over those eight years, I got to know many of the residents of the ward and became a strong advocate for them. There is no doubt Betty Cloud will do the same. For over 37 years, Betty and her family have called Prospect Heights home. She has served in a number of volunteer roles and has always been eager and willing to give of her time and talent.

She has also worked closely with past city council members and mayors when she served as chair of the former Prospect Heights Convention and Visitors Bureau, as a board member on the Chicago Executive Airport Commission and as an active parishioner at St Alphonsus.

The residents of the 3rd Ward trusted their vote to me when I was just 19 years old and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity. Today, I am asking those same residents to support my friend and elect Betty Cloud 3rd Ward alderman on April 2!
