Democrats oppose Trump, not the wall

The hypocrisy in our government astounds me.

In 2006 the Secure Fence Act sailed through Congress with big bipartisan majorities and (Signers included: Biden, Clinton, Schumer and Obama) was signed by G.W. Bush. It allowed for 548 new miles of fencing along the Mexican border.

Obama praised the bill on the Senate floor " … the bill will help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in the country …"

In 2013, ALL and I repeat ALL Senate Democrats backed the comprehensive immigration reform legislation called the The Gang of Eight Bill which included $46 billion for border security …. included in that was $8 billion to reinforce barriers along 700 miles of border required under the Secure Fence Act.

Democrats don't oppose a border fence/wall …. they oppose Trump.
