Hatred consumes president's critics

At Sen. McCain's funeral one speaker said, "Hatred corrodes the container it's carried in."

I believe that is what's happening to the radical liberal left. Their hatred of our president is so ugly and obvious. I challenge anyone to find one member of our Republican Congress who promoted violence against the "former president" of his supporters, as members of our existing Democratic Congress have done.

I would also like to respond to a letter to the editor from Wednesday, Jan. 31, demonizing Walter Williams and Fox News with such childish language. I love Walter Williams columns. They are thoughtful, well written and devoid of the hateful rhetoric some of your other columnists use. As for Fox News, I find the daily shows delightful, well balanced, with many guests of opposing views that are treated fairly and with respect. (unlike many other stations)

The Fox evening shows are "opinion forums" just as other evening shows are. It's called freedom of speech. If you don't like it change the channel.

Now for pro-life vs pro-choice.

The feminists who like to wear pink hats on their heads have every right to call an abortion "a woman's reproductive right." But I also as a conservative woman have the same right to call it the murder of an innocent child.

I saw a sign at a March for Life report that read, "If wombs had windows, there would be no abortion." Well, science has given us that window. How sad so many are afraid to look in and see the truth.

I'm not advocating to overturn any laws, but if I can save just one baby because someone read this letter, then my time was well spent.
