What walls can do
There were two recent articles in the Daily Herald concerning walls. The navy is considering a 14-foot wall around the Washington Navy Yard to protect the facility from floodwaters from the Anacostia River. Israel is about to begin construction on a 20-foot galvanized steel barrier to reinforce its existing fence the length of its border with the Gaza Strip. What do the navy and Israel know that Nancy Pelosi doesn't know?
