Avoid using schools as polling places

I would like to address this to the school districts that are still allowing schools to be polling places while students are present. I do not know what compensation you receive but is it worth the children's safety to allow anyone to enter the buildings on voting days? In this time of such volatility, it is even more imperative to try to protect our children. We have locked doors and safety measures on every other school day. Voting days should not be exceptions. There are many other locations that can be used for voting places. If districts insist on allowing schools to be on this list, then students should be given a day off. While voting is extremely important, students' safety should take precedence.
