A true representative for his district
As a supporter of Peter Roskam before and during his time in Washington, D.C., I was pleased to note that the Daily Herald and the Chicago Tribune have both endorsed his re-election to the House representing the Illinois 6th Congressional District.
The Tribune notes Peter "is a fiscal conservative who takes leadership positions in Congress" and "has clout, which helps when he seeks congressional action for his district."
Peter has been a strong voice for the citizens of the 6th District and has not just been a "yes person" for policies of the administration only supporting those policies when the best interests of the district are served. The Tribune goes on to note that opponent Sean Casten's candidacy "is lifted by antipathy for President Donald Trump."
I encourage any voters who may be swayed by that "antipathy" to not prevent you from returning to Congress a man who has truly been a representative of the citizens of the 6th District.
