Danforth for Lake County Board District 17
Republican incumbent Michael Danforth faces Democrat Maria Peterson. Both are quality candidates. Danforth says he wants the board to self-investigate county-issued credit card use, has ideas for tax relief and will hold people accountable. Peterson is involved in her community, has time to dedicate to the work, is passionate about creating local jobs and wants accountability for each dollar spent. Danforth is endorsed but we encourage him to be diligent in his role on the ethics committee.
