Barr for Lake County Board District 3
Republican Dick Barr and Democrat Ed Gallagher, both newcomers, are seeking the Lake County Board District 3 post. Barr, 43, is a real estate broker and small business owner who has been active in the community, where he is raising four children. Gallagher, 27, is a policy advisor for state Sen. Melinda Bush and is new to the area. The candidates share many similar views about property tax relief and ethics reform. Barr has shown more dedication to the area and has more experience. We endorse Barr.
