Company helps phone scammers

I found the 9/20 DH Business article from The Washington Post on cell phone scams alarming. What was incredible though was the article's source, First Orion. They "provide phone carriers and their customers caller ID and call blocking technology." I think they are part of the problem by helping to hide scammers and do-not-call violators - who, according to the article, "are often hard to hold to account." Well if you sell a burglar a mask, it will be hard to identify him. It should be illegal to help these violators hide their identity for illegal purposes. Without this cover-up technology, many scammers and call abusers could be caught or reduced. Instead of crying wolf (their report), Orion should be working with law enforcement to curb this abuse.
