We lost a great leader

This country won't see the likes of the late Sen.John McCain again. We will always be the greatest nation of our time. but one can only envision how much greater we would have been if McCain had made it as president. It is unfortunate that by his first run portions, of our society had already become weakened and lame. The last three presidential elections have been disastrous. How so many fellow Americans can vote for novice candidates and shallow overly wealthy third-rate celebrities is beyond belief. A village idiot would be better qualified to run and represent the country. Who's next, the Kardashians?

In McCain's own words "We're better than this." He was a brave, brilliant an driven man who never capitalized on what he came from. His sense of humor never hurt either. He earned our respect long ago tenfold. Till the end he put his fellow man first and went out with grace and dignity. Truly one of a dying breed of great politicians and patriots.

He will be sorely missed.
