Respect for draftees

Regarding, the May 14 Daily Herald letter on the military draft by Rich Lorimer: I can't believe a veteran would knock other veterans, especially draftees. He stated that the majority of casualties were draftees. Of course! The majority of the Army were draftees at that time. I was a draftee in 1967-68 Vietnam, and I gave 110 percent, same as most of us at that time and when we came home, we weren't treated like heroes. We were treated the opposite.
