Publicity ploy

According to the Daily Herald, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has announced her intent to sue Facebook over the Cambridge Analytica fiasco. This is after, citing budget constraints, she announced her office will stop prosecuting cases of driving on suspended licenses, driving without insurance and pot charges.

Her first priority should be public safety. If the secretary of state went through the effort to suspend someone's license, she should be doing her part to keep the person off the road. Same for the uninsured.

This is nothing but an attempt to get her name in the paper and get in line to go for the cash.
