Let's focus on things that build not destroy

I really enjoy reading articles by Walter E. Williams and the subject, "The challenge to black achievement," was profound. The single line that stood out was "Putting greater emphasis on black success in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds is far superior to focusing on grievances and victimhood." Did you catch it, "far superior"?

America would be in much better shape on today if people focused on successes rather than failures. There will always be brokenness and corruption; however, there are also many success stories and we seldom hear about those. Why, because the media spends their effort on reporting about the brokenness of America. Yes, those are the things that sell newspapers and gain high ratings, but they also are the things that are taking America down the wrong path.

Let's wake up and promote the stuff that will build rather than the stuff that destroy.
