Congressman's wife plays important role

In response the letter, "The measure of a man or woman," perhaps Isola Metz has not bothered to observe the schedule that Peter Roskam keeps, his being available all over the 6th Congressional District of Illinois for his input and gathering information.

It is my opinion that Peter Roskam has chosen to join him for the State of the Union speech the one person that takes care of his home and four children while he is spending an inordinate amount of time with and for his other constituents, making the endless series of commutes to Washington and returning to Wheaton for more constituent contacts. His wife is front and center, hearing and seeing all of the gripes, complaints and unethical slurs targeting her husband.

I say, "Good for you, Peter!" Elizabeth Roskam is a constituent too.
