Palatine hot dog stand comes through

After 28-plus years Photo's Hot Dogs in Mount Prospect suddenly and permanently closed down. A note on the door greeted families going there for lunch on Saturday Feb. 3. There was no warning or no announcement beforehand.

Not only will many people miss Photo's, but a lot of people have Photo's gift cards with unused balances. I have one with $110 remaining!

My son contacted the Photo's in Palatine about what happened.

They responded quickly and said that even though they sold that store many years ago and are not connected in any way with the Mount Prospect Store, they would honor our gift cards and welcome their followers to the Palatine location.

How about that for a business owner to go above and beyond the call of duty? A class move and classy operation through and through.
