It's waste of time to mess with logo

I read the letter by Eric Peterson regarding Schaumburg's present logo and the months of research and deliberation with a consultant on changing it. Is the village so awash in money that it even contemplated such a move? If they have so much money to foster a change to something that has served us so well since the inception of our present logo, then use it to lower our taxes.

Roosevelt University changed their logo, how well did that work for them? And did it really matter? The Mona Lisa is still the Mona Lisa. Why waste time and money to fix what isn't broken? Why not use that money to try to get the new Apple facility here, as they once got Motorola? Schaumburg certainly has a lot to offer them. Just let them know what a thriving progressive, wonderful community we have here. Leave the logo alone.
