Keeping Russia close

Posted12/5/2017 1:00 AM

From early school days in geography, Crimea was Russia, Ukraine was Russia. Premier Khrushchev was born in Ukraine after World War II. Russia repaired most of the bombed-out roads. No one complained about that. During World War II, about 1944, Russia was our ally. Many American lives were spared while Russia was engaging the Nazis on the eastern front, while we fought the Nazis on the western front. True, the Russians were fighting to save their own donkey. We had a common enemy. Once again, we have a common enemy. I side with President Trump on keeping good communications with Russia. They can keep peace in Asia. USA can keep peace in America.
