Superintendent was not held accountable

I think the Elementary School District 62 "package" granted Floyd Williams perpetuates the atmosphere of looking the other way when sexual harassment claims are made. This is why so many women feel helpless and fail to pursue acknowledgment and justice against aggressors. Even with previous knowledge of his actions and in spite of new allegations, he was not held accountable. He was rewarded instead with a $127,000 separation agreement. He was, in fact, rewarded for being a sexual predator, if only he would go away quietly, until the next time, someplace else.

This is why so many women (and girls) are reluctant to say anything. We are taught at an early age that it doesn't matter, that nothing will be done. Only the accuser and her reputation loses in the end. It is so sad.
