Weird gas price changes

Why isn't anyone questioning the fluctuation in gas prices lately? The BP gas station on Quentin and Lake-Cook Road in unincorporated lake County have had their prices go from $2.25 to $2.49 and back to $2.39 in a matter of three days. As a matter of fact, on Wednesday, Oct. 18, I drove past there in the morning and gas was $2.39. When I came home that night after 9 p.m. to get gas, it was back to $2.49. What's going on?
