Naperville chamber wins Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award

NAPERVILLE - The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce was presented with two awards from the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, including Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award for chambers with more than 600 members.

The NACC also was presented with the IACCE Certified Chamber of Commerce designation at the organization's annual Celebration & Awards Dinner Nov. 3.

The Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award recognizes organization excellence and is based on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's accreditation process highlighting accomplishments in the areas of leadership, governance, finance, advocacy and membership development.

"This award is a tribute to our members. I often say the NACC wants to be a part of a business's success story - and it is great to be able to demonstrate our ability to lead and succeed so that our members trust us to take part on their journey," said Kaylin Risvold, president and CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.
