Spaceco promotes Daniel C. Stevens to president

ROSEMONT - Spaceco Inc. has promoted Executive Vice President Daniel C. Stevens to president of the Rosemont-based engineering firm.

Bill Loftus, who has served as president for 21 years, will stay in leadership of the company, joining Brett Duffy and Michael Mondus as principals.

Spaceco provides a full range of civil engineering, site planning and surveying services for residential, commercial and industrial construction projects.

"After more than two decades as Spaceco president, I'm excited for this transition and the opportunity to continue helping the company grow and succeed," said Loftus, who will focus on business development, staff mentoring and firm growth.

Stevens is a civil engineer who started at Spaceco in 2005. Over 17 years at the company, Stevens developed strong client relationships and, upon his promotion to executive vice president in 2019, took a leadership role in the company's growth, staffing and technology initiatives.

"Dan is an excellent choice to lead Spaceco into the future," Loftus said. "With more than 17 years at the company and a history of leadership and relationship building, Dan is the right choice to ensure our firm's continued success."
