Tri-Merit co-founder appointed to Intuit Tax Council

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Randy Crabtree, a certified public accountant and co-founder of Tri-Merit - a national provider of specialty tax services, has accepted an invitation to join the Intuit Tax Council.

The advisory group is charged with helping lead and institute change in the professional tax community and shape Intuit's business strategy.

Crabtree will serve a three-year term on the Tax Council. He brings three decades of experience in public accounting and tax consulting to this new role. In addition to his position at Tri-Merit, Crabtree hosts one of the most downloaded podcasts in the country, The Unique CPA. He is a regular presenter at conferences and events within the accounting industry as well as other professional groups.

Listed as One to Watch in Accounting Today's 2021 Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting, Crabtree has also written articles for a wide range of publications.
