Wheaton Chamber to host media panel Dec. 1

The Women in Business Committee of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce is hosting "The Power of the Press: Boosting Your Business Through Media Relations," a media panel being held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, via Zoom.

The panel will be moderated by Janet Mathis, a former broadcast journalist and communications director at Gary United Methodist Church. Janet will lead this discussion with journalists and communications experts:

• Craig Dellimore, political editor, WBBM-AM news radio

• Erica Loiacono, director of community engagement & communications, Community Unit School District 200

• Jeff Reiter, senior manager of communications, Cantigny

• Orrin Schwarz, editor, Daily Herald Business Ledger

The panel will cover how communicating news and events with editors and reporters can help a business grow. Cost for the program is $15 for Wheaton Chamber members and $25 for nonmembers.
