The Oaks at Bartlett announces $5 million renovation

BARTLETT - The Oaks at Bartlett, a continuing care retirement community formerly known as Clare Oaks, will be undergoing a $5 million renovation, according to ER Senior Management LLC.

ER Senior Management, headquartered in Abilene, Texas, was appointed as the senior living community's management company at the end of 2020. It has earmarked $5 million for capital improvements, the company said. Close to $3 million will go toward converting existing skilled nursing care rooms into assisted-living residences, which will increase the number of such apartments from 17 to a new total of 49.

Other improvements include redesigning the main entrance, redecorating the common areas and repurposing the space outside the dining hall into a casual-dining bistro and social hub.

The Oaks at Bartlett, 825 Carillon Drive, provides independent living apartments and cottages as well as a continuum of care for more than 200 residents on its 41-acre campus.
