Shirley Ryan rehab center is complete

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Krusinski Construction said is has completed work on the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab rehabilitation center within the Enterprise Office Campus, 3215 N. Wilke Road in Arlington Heights.

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, provides physical medicine and rehabilitation for adults and children with the most severe, complex conditions - from traumatic brain and spinal cord injury to stroke, amputation and cancer-related impairment.

The 11,500-square-foot day Arlington Heights center represents the fourth Chicago-area facility Krusinski has constructed for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Previously, the firm has completed ground-up development projects for the organization in Burr Ridge and Homewood, and a substantial build out of existing and operational space in Glenview.

The scope of the work completed by Oak Brook-based Krusinski Construction represented a comprehensive interior demolition and renovation of the existing space, new HVAC and electrical distribution, upgraded water service, the creation of a new, protected entryway and installing new flooring throughout the entire space.
